Who keeps the Red Shores form

Charlottetown Casino describes, as an outside observer, how harness racing and simulcast betting work at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino in Charlottetown. It has no tie to the venue, and its byline is the Form Desk, the editorial desk behind the guide, not any named person.

About

Behind the byline

Every page of Charlottetown Casino comes from the Form Desk, an editorial team rather than an individual. Red Shores, Atlantic Lottery and the provincial government of Prince Edward Island have no connection to the guide. No wagers are accepted here, and the guide keeps no accounts for anyone.

Its subject is narrow: how a harness race at the Charlottetown Driving Park is run, and what each pari-mutuel bet type means. It also covers how simulcast pools combine and what else operates in the building. No race dates appear here; those sit on the racing pages of redshores.ca.

About

Sources and checking

The desk checked its facts in October 2026. The sources were redshores.ca, the MPHRC, Standardbred Canada, Prince Edward Island documents and the federal Pari-Mutuel Betting Supervision Regulations. Definitions of racing and betting terms are summaries of Standardbred Canada material and those federal rules, not of the track's own rulebook. Each distance is a straight line on OpenStreetMap, from the Red Shores map point to the point for a town.

Where Red Shores publishes nothing, the guide says so. No closing time is posted for table games, poker or roulette, which run "to close". Top of the Park has no posted hours. Holiday hours are not published either; a call to 902-620-4222 confirms them.

About

How the pictures were made

Every picture here comes from an image generator, and none is a photograph. Four were generated from real photographs of Red Shores Racetrack & Casino, each with the camera moved a little and the scene set at another hour. Those four show the Charlottetown Driving Park oval, the indoor grandstand, the Trackside entrance and the Hall of Fame wall. The other three have no real scene behind them: an empty home stretch, a sulky by a rail and a starting gate wing. No person and no live horse appears in any image.

About

Paid links and commission

In the Charlottetown Casino guide, paid placements appear on the front page and nowhere else, each one labelled Ad by the Form Desk. Every such placement points to an online casino owned privately, and that company pays the Form Desk a commission whose terms can shift. This operator has nothing to do with alc.ca, Red Shores, Atlantic Lottery or the province, and Prince Edward Island has never authorised it. A self-exclusion through Break in Play covers the two Red Shores floors only, not this site. The Form Desk earns nothing from its links to the Kensington Road venue, the regulators or the help services.

Nothing leaves the tab

No logins, forms or ad trackers, and tool entries never leave your browser. Visits are counted storing nothing on your device, but an outside counter gets your IP and user-agent. The light or dark display a reader picks belongs to that single tab and is kept nowhere else.
